Nfina is an IT infrastructure platform provider supplying cyber resilience for business continuity.

Nfina Technologies is the premier IT infrastructure provider. Our goal is to maximize uptime for the customer. At Nfina, we start at the edge and go all the way to the cloud. At the edge we do high availability, converged. and hyperconverged. We support all the following virtualization platforms: Microsoft, VMware, Proxmox, Red Hat, and Linux. Our hybrid cloud solution runs about half the cost of the public cloud and includes active-active rapid disaster recovery. In turn, this becomes very affordable for the mid-market SMB client. We can host Colos, data centers and our private and our public cloud. All of our servers and storage are VMware and Microsoft certified as well. So you can find Nfina certifications listed on their website.

On the edge, Nfina has backup solutions. We sell a Veeam backup repository with SAN, NAS, and hyperconverged. Our storage has the capability of backing up to our appliance and to our public cloud. We currently have a public cloud at AUBix right outside of Atlanta that replicates to Data Journey in Texas. We keep our clouds in sync using our snapshot technology that originates from the storage array. We also have a software package that we will mention later called Nfina-View. It is written inhouse and can monitor storage on prem backup and cloud storage.

We also have a special AI development platform called AI Workstation. You don’t want to develop AI algorithms on your normal workstation or PC because it is so time-consuming so we sell separate workstations for that. You can containerize these workloads, and they will run using the NVIDIA development enterprise AI suite and can then be uploaded to the Nfina Cloud. The Nfina Cloud is what sits in front of the Alabama AI Center of Excellence supercomputer at AUBix. This is a multi-million-dollar cluster versus what you can get at the workstation level. Where Nfina differs is if you look at the hyperscaler’s AI solution you sign your intellectual property away. Their AI engine can learn your intellectual property and keep your information, whereas in Nfina case you create a cloud account we mount your storage run the supercomputer and then dismount your storage. Your storage and algorithms maintain their proprietary nature with your customer account.

These are all our solutions we provide, Hyperconverged, SAN Storage, Hybrid Cloud, Cloud Hosting, Backup and DR Solutions, and Post-Quantum Entropy. We also provide Servers and NAS solutions as well. All of our products are manufactured in Mobile, Alabama and come with a 5-year warranty.

An advantage that Nfina has on our hyperconverge solutions is scaling. Our storage scales independent of compute which saves you money. The Nfina high availability solution is a true two node solution unlike most of our competitors who start with three nodes. If you want to scale storage or compute on our competitor solution, you must add a fourth identical node. The Nfina solution starts at two nodes, and we scale our storage completely independent of the compute, saving you 33% instantly and even more if you need to scale in the future. 

Here is a case study of CCB Community Bank. They had old IT infrastructure that needed upgrading. They went with hyperconverged at all branches and locations. Nfina’s hybrid cloud solutions came in at about $23,000 per month versus $45,000 per month to go into the Azure cloud which has no BDR capability. We saved them approximately $1.3 million over 5 years.

For SAN storage we typically run about half the cost of competitors. The value here is that SSD SANS with NVMe cache gives you high write performance backup capability and built-in immutable snapshots, and customers are protected with a 5-year warranty. We have a 5-year warranty on all our servers and storage products. 

Here’s another case study with GE Healthcare. Nfina provided storage solutions to GE Healthcare’s Dev Ops Support. They were previously using TrueNAS and had performance issues and were not happy with their support. We sold them our all flash with NVMe cache SAN solution saving them about $37,000.

We also believe that our hybrid cloud solution is the gold standard in the industry. It runs half the price of the public hypers scale cloud with backup and disaster recovery as well. We also have geo-redundant backup and DR that’s built into our architecture, making the Nfina solution more cyber resilient.

Let’s look at the cost of the public hypers scale cloud compared to Nfina hybrid cloud solution. With 128 VMs and 125 TBs of SSD HA storage, the public hypers scale will run about $80,000 per month. In comparison Nfina’s hybrid cloud solution will run about $40,000 per month. As you can see the savings ratio is constant regardless of the size.

This is the Vidsys case study. Vidsys is a physical security company located in Boston Massachusetts. Vidsys does all the physical security for companies like Apple. As you can imagine Apple has many different buildings to monitor and Vidsys provides the drivers to support those buildings. Included in their infrastructure were: 72 cores, 1.2 TB RAM, 124 Windows VMs with HA, and 52 TB SSD storage with NVME cache. We leased the hardware and provided managed services to them for 5 years at $7,350 per month. In comparison Azure cloud services charge $18,768 per month leading to nearly $685,000 in cost savings over 5 years by using the Nfina solution.

Not every deal we do is large. The Lathan Company needed to strengthen its data protection and add backup and DR. Nfina’s hybrid cloud turnkey solution with managed services costs $1,280 a month compared to about $2,500 per month with Azure. This led to a $77,000 cost savings over 5 years.

We also provide cloud hosting that comes in at about half the cost of the public hypers scale cloud.

This is the VCOM case study. They were hosting through Amazon, running them about $9,000 per month, not including ingress and egress charges. We charged them $4,000 per month in comparison to their original $9,000, saving them about $177,000 over 3 years.

This case study is for Apex Wood Floors out of Chicago. You may recognize their logo as they sell premium wood flooring products in stores like Home Depot and Lowe’s. They needed a cloud solution with high performance and low latency. We charged $639 per month over a three-year contract. Competitors like Azure charged about $1,300 per month, leading to a savings of about $26,000 over 3 years.

Proper backup and disaster recovery is a requirement in this day and age with ransomware running rampant. With all our backup and DR solutions, we can offer encryption at rest and encryption at flight with immutable snapshots built into the storage array. We also have geographic redundancy built into the architecture. We can back up by Veeam or whatever backup system you’re currently using. We have storage array level snapshots that include geographic redundancy and our Nfina-View software.

Nfina has a true belt and suspenders approach to backup. We can support Veeam for local on-prem and cloud including Office 365 and email to Nfina Cloud repository at AUBix. We can also send immutable snapshots from the storage array that are fully encrypted and compressed as well to our AUBix location which is then backed up to another mirrored cloud at Data Journey in Texas.

Nfina-view is our software dashboard monitoring tool. Nfina-view can view the edge, the cloud, the clusters, and uses the REST API over the network eliminating the need for a USB serial port. Something special that we’ve added for some banking and insurance communities is the ability to generate a test backup report. You can take your virtual machines, clone them with immutable snapshots, stand them up in separate VLANs, and then verify that they’re fully functional and capable. From there we can run a test report to show any auditor proof of testing of your backup. We have roll back capability, so if you get hit by ransomware or any other catastrophe, we have the capability of rolling your VMs back within minutes and not hours or days. We also have failover capabilities allowing you to take advantage of the geo-redundant architecture so you can move workloads back and forth between on-prem and cloud.
